Background & story

Brittany is a former volleyball student-athlete at the University of Southern California. She embarked on her professional journey with the Patterson Sports Ventures team in 2022 as the 10 Talks Podcast Producer and Video Editor.


Armed with a B.A. in International Relations and a business minor, Abercrombie has made a significant impact on the international volleyball scene, showcasing her skills in countries such as Poland, Germany, Puerto Rico, and Turkey. Her impressive list of achievements includes securing two National Championships with Puerto Rico in 2022 and 2023. Abercrombie's dedication to both academics and athletics is evident through her receipt of the Marks Scholar Award in 2015 and 2017. She further distinguished herself in 2017 by earning the AVCA Third Team All-American title, ESPNW National Player of the Week, and Two-Time Pac-12 Offensive Player of the Week.


Notable accolades from earlier years include her inclusion in the 2016 Rice Adidas Invitational All-Tournament Team, the 2015 Pac-12 All-Conference Team, and the 2015 Women of Troy Baden Invitational All-Tournament Team. Abercrombie's excellence extends to the 2015 AVCA All-Pacific South Region Team and participation in the 2015 USA Collegiate National Team. Recognized as a standout talent from the beginning, she was named a 2014 Under Armour All-American and held the impressive Max-Preps No. 4-ranked recruit title in 2014. Brittany's remarkable achievements underscore her prowess both on and off the volleyball court.
